So, what toggles a GPO pin, anyway?
I suppose Sigma chip GPOs are supposed to be triggered by logical elements, like a one-shot, a gate or the Tolerance Analyzer. But I'm creating a PWM output from the ADAU1701 using an ABCD module and a DC-offset triangle to change the color of a bi-color LED as a dynamics processor changes gain. It appears that anything applied to a GPO pin within Sigma Studio toggles the output, even the lowest output setting of a DC Entry Module. But in the interest of avoiding any possible violation, can it be assumed that switching that pin from 'zero volts' to 'plus one volt' will be unconditionally okay?

Hello Jim,
All the GPIO output pins will output a zero when zero is put in and will output a 1 when the pin is sent any non-zero signal. So even a "1" in the LSB will trigger the GPIO to go high. The actual level, (hex number) being sent is not looked at, the test is if it is zero then the pin will go low, not zero then it goes high. So you cannot damage it in any way by sending it a large number.
