Hello,

I am trying to connect 218xEz-ICE to target ADSP 2187 and PC (has windows XP in a virtual machine) but it is giving error. Please refer the below screen shot

I have installed visual dsp 3.5++ and trying to connect mt hardware board with Ex-ICE. I guess driver is not installed.

WOuld you please help to resolve this issue?

Hello,

ADSP-218x family is supported by VisualDSP++ 3.5 and it contains necessary driver for 218x EZ-ICE.The driver will install automatically while you done the VisualDSP++ installation.

Please note that, Unfortunately ADI does not support installing our tools onto a Virtual Machine.We only support the tools running on machine which use a native version of a supported operating system.While you may have success running the tools on a Virtual machine we cannot support you.Can you please try install VisualDSP++ in the native operating system and let us know if you are still facing the same issue.
