Hello,

I´m currently at the very beginning of a guitar amp design using DSP (ADAU1702). I´m trying to figure out how I could program this device. I need a self-boot operation since I don´t need another MCU in my circuit. I´ll have an EEPROM with I2C interface (as recommended in the datasheet). There is a WB pin, which decides if the signal processor may use the EEPROM, or it may be programmed from an external source. I would simply connect the I2C of the EEPROM to an USB-I2C converter to get an interface between DSP and my PC, and use a header to set the WB pin. Is it meant to be that way? Will SigmaStudio recognize the EEPROM? I didn´t find a programming manual other than the one for the evaluation kit and have no idea how SigmaStuido works.

Thanks in advance,

Chris
