difference between 1772 and 1777?
Hello! Currently trying to figure out which eval board to get and it's between the 1772 and 1777. What's the difference between these two platforms? From the datasheets I see that the 1777 allows a higher sampling rate. Is that the only difference? Was the higher sampling rate added at any cost relative to performance of 1772?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Sincerely,
HitchHiker
Hello HitchHiker,
You are correct that the 1777 can operate at a higher sample rate. This brings the latency down by quite a bit. The other big difference is the package. The 1777 is a wafer level package so this makes the fabrication a bit more tricky.
The only performance difference, besides what I mentioned above, is that if you run at higher sample rates it will draw more power. The analog performance is exactly the same.

Great. Thanks for the info.
