Thread Summary

The user is facing issues with DC signal conversion using the DAC on ADZS-SC584-EZLITE and ADZS-SC573-EZLITE evaluation boards due to the bandpass filter terminating the DC signal. An SR has been logged for private support to address the issue, and the outcome will be posted if appropriate. The user is also interested in extender boards with DACs without bandpass filters and the possibility of using a codec without additional periphery.

DSP_MAXC Question

Hello Engineer Zone Community,

I was looking around for DSP´s + Evaluationboards and found some (ADZS-SC584-EZLITE and ADZS-SC573-EZLITE for example). The Problem is, I want to convert DC-Signals with the DAC of the Evaluationboard, but the Bandpassfilter of the DAC terminates my DC-Signal.

Is there a solution to avoid this Problem. Are there Extenderboards with DAC´s without those kind of filters.

Is it possible to use a Codec without additional periphery.

This Problem occur at 2 channels. The DAC´s of these two channels could be replaced with DAC´s with lower resolution for example 12 bit.

Best Regards

Viktor Heinz

An SR has been logged through private support for this issue, and will continue to be dealt with through that channel. We will post the outcome here, if appropriate.
