Hi, ADI support team

I know that the Safeload memory has 32 bit * 5 Data (data_safeLoad[0]-[5]).
In case of Double precision, I believe that two Data is used for 1 coefficient.
If I want to update five coefficients of Double precision, how to do it?
Is there any way?

Hello TomY,

In both cases the coefficients are the same size, 32 bits. It is the accumulator that is expanded to 80 bits for the multiply of a 64 bit number by a 32 bit number.

Here is a screenshot of the Params window showing two 2nd order filters, one that is single precision and one that is double precision. They are both set to the same exact filter. So you can see the coefficients are the same, it is only the internal multiplication that is double precision. It is all handled by the code inside the GUI.

I labeled the filters as "SP" and "DP" for the single and double precisions versions.

So there is no need for different Safeload procedures.
