We are doing a system with 1*i2s as input and 3*i2s and 1*DAC as output. We using ADAU1701 as Master running on 48K sample rate with a 12.288Mhz osc.

The issue I faced is when there is data from i2s input, everything is great and the PLL_LF pin is around 1.5V,but when no data sent from i2s input, the mclk and bclk/lrck will start to be async and the PLL_LF are starting down to 0V. Guess its because of PLL issue but with no idea how to debug, any body has any hints on this?

Thanks

Hello briankao,

It would be helpful to see more information. Schematics and details about your PCB layout.

I would like for you to clarify something.

It is unclear is the data is being sent out of the 1701 or is being sent into the 1701?

It seems to me it is the serial output of the I2S port?
