Is there a way to keep module addresses the same as you work on a project? Every time I compile and link after adding a module the previously coded module addresses change.

I guess the second question would be is there a programatic way with script (I would transfer it to Visual Studio) to get an address for a module by name or some other unique identifier?

Thanks.

Jerry

By the way, SigmaStudio is very powerful and well designed for a free tool. My congrats to the team who developed it.

Hello Jerry,

You can do this with the ADAU1452/51/50 and the ADAU1467/66/63/62 and the ADAU1442 but not with the ADAU1761 and the ADAU1701. So what processor are you using?

What you need to use is the Indirect Parameter Access Table. Here is information about it:

For all processors you can output the System Files. In that file dump are header files and locations of parameters and code for booting up the processor. You can search the forum for help or you can start here where it is explained.

I hope this will help.

Thanks,

I'm using the 1701 and 1761 so I guess I'm stuck with what I have. No bid deal as I have the host application setup to just change a define throughout.

Thanks
