Dear,

I want program a Algorithm myself and put it on ADAU1772 to run, how I can write C language programs or assembly programs for AUAU1772. Can the sigma-studio do that ?

very appreciate for your answer!

Thank you!

Hello Chen,

No, we do not provide an assembler for the 1772. You have to use SigmaStudio to program it.

Hello Dave,

Thank you for your reply.

How can I write a Algorithm for AUAU1772 with SigmaStudio ? Does it have binary instruction codes for programming ?

Hello Shipei,

It is done graphically using objects from the toolbox.

This part is not a full function DSP, it is a filter engine. All it does is executes a series of BiQuad filters but does so very quickly. So all you can do with this part is what you can do with a Bi-Quad. Obviously, you can filter, then you can make an all-pass which is a volume control/mute. So the library is limited because the core was designed to process filters very fast. There are four limiters that are available as a hardware feature that can be added to the signal flow. The sample rate converters on the serial ports are also does in hardware and not in the core.

So what are your basic requirements for your project? How many inputs, levels? how many outputs etc.? Then I will try to build a quick project to get you started. Search the forum but there may not be too many examples on the forum for this part. Most customers keep their programs secret for this part.

We do not have a ANC application that we can give out at this time.

If you need to do more general purpose DSP work then I may have another solution for you. So explain in a simple way what you need to do with the part.
