When using the Stimulus and Probe feature in Sigma Studio, it appears to only simulate the first filter in a Parametric EQ Filter block. This behavior is a problem when my project has the ADAU1466 hardware selected, but it seems to work correctly if I add ADAU1701 hardware to the project and use a Parametric EQ block on the 1701 hardware.

This seems to be the same question someone else had in this thread:

I am using Windows 10 and Sigma Studio Version 4.2 Build 1 Rev 1764

Hello Justin,

The simple case shown below works for me. I couldn't tell from your post what combination of filter(s) you're using. Perhaps you might make a copy of your project, remove any proprietary stuff while leaving the Stimulus, Filter, and Probe setup, then post it for us to test. To attach your file you need to "zip" it first. Finally, there are known situations where Stimulus-Probe simply doesn't work -- for example, with index filters. I made a post about this a few years ago but apparently it has departed to Mars.

Hello KJBob,

I did read your post about the limitations before I created this one, thank you for making it long ago.

Here is the most basic version of the problem I can create. The project is attached as well.

There are two filters in the Parametric EQ block. The Probe seems to only capture the first filter.

Hello Justin,

Yes it's a bug -- and still present in the latest SigmaStudio 4.3 Beta. The good news is that the ParaEQ filter set graphs its own response -- but this won't find the composite response of a combination of filters including this set.

SigmaStudio program team please take note.

Yep, thank you for verifying the behavior. You're right that I'm looking to view the composite response of multiple EQ blocks.
