Lack of resource about beamforming function in 1701_dsp!

I want to use the function of beamforming in 1701_dsp to conceal the ambient noise of headphone. However there is nothing about the this fuction. If it's possible, pls give me some detailed resouses, including the principle of the algorithm, and the development exemples is essential of course ! And based on your background, aside from the 1701, which type of DSP is suitable most for beamforming algorithm. Thanks a lot!
