ADAU1452 DAC interface

I am developing a product using the ADAU1452.
I am now testing the 1452 EVB and MCU (ST).
I confirmed the data acquisition by interlocking DSP and MCU at present.
The next step is to send the data read from the DSP back to the DSP for output.
How do I send to which register in which format?
(If you send it to the SData_In line, how do you define the CLK settings (who chooses Mater? MCU? DSP?) And the data format ...)
Please help with this.

Hello Andrew,
This is a little difficult to answer because I do not have all the information. I think this is audio data correct? Not register data?
For audio data you simply connect the two DSPs using the serial ports. I assume both are on the same master clock domain?
If they are then you can choose who is the master. Usually, it is best for the DSP that is sending the data to be the master.
If they are on different clock domains then you will have to use the ASRC, but that is still using the serial ports.
Give us more info and I will try to help further.
