ADAU1701-Mute problem

Dear ADI
Please see my project of a simple crossover module.
When I pressed mute1 block We can hear a strong popping in the speakers.
What is causing this? What can I do to eliminate this problem?

Hello Prudensio,
Add a DC block at the input of your signal flow. The ADC converters do not have a built in high pass filter so you will see a DC offset from the ADC. This is normal and not a problem with the part. Then if you go through an equalizer and boost the low end it will boost the DC as well and that can make the problem very noticeable.
