We need to 'load different sets of control parameters in the run time' for the different modules implemented(like Volume control, Mute, Delay).

>> We used sequence window for this, and saved different sets of control parameters as mode0, mode1...etc. And downloaded mode to hardware to execute sequence commands based on our requirement.

>> But we need to handle this different sets of control parameters (different modes) from flash memory. Please share the details for the below queries.

1) How to flash this 'different control parameter table' in flash memory along with application code (We are using 'EVAL-ADAU1467Z' board for this evaluation)

2) How to download this table from flash memory to DSP based on the command from Sigma Studio GUI.

KS

Thanks for your support Dave. We have verified this with simple module. This is working. But we have observed initial delay of few milliseconds after reset the board. Please confirm this is expected.

After reset the board, default setting is working. When we switch modes, it take time to respond initially.

Hello KS,

Yes, it is expected to have some delay since the program is loaded and begins to run. Then the setting of the variant is detected and loaded. What I suggest you do is once you have loaded all the different settings and the project is ready to be written to EEPROM, you engage mutes or turn down the gain of the audio outputs in the SigmaStudio project. Then link/compile/download one more time. This will set the initial condition when the DSP program boots and begins to run. Then it will detect your variant and load it in. This will prevent sudden loud audio heard and then the new setting being applied. The few milliseconds just becomes part of the bootup delay and the second delay for loading a new setting is not heard.

I changed your project to use the MP-pins that are on the DIP switch on the evaluation board. MP14 and MP7. This way you can easily test all of the settings by flipping the dip switches and pressing the reset button.

You might want to setup a fourth setting so that any of the possible settings of the DIP switch will result in a valid selection of a variant.

I have attached the project
