Hi ADI Support,

I have a question about the ADI ADAU1787 audio output interface.

Cause the AD/DA of ADAU1787 are super fast, the sampling rate up to 768k Hz.

I want to get the high sampling rate data from the ADAU1787, but the only way I know is through the 3.5mm analog line out.

Through the analog output, the problem is the data I can get is depend on the recorder's AD speed.

(Analog Path: Analog line in -> AD -> Sigma DSP -> DA -> Rec AD[Fs:192k or lower] )

(Desire Path: Analog line in -> AD -> Sigma DSP -> High Speed Output Interface[Digital Signal] )

Hope you can tell me how can I get the high sampling rate data and save it from ADAU1787 by Sigma Studio.

Best regards,

Jeffery.

Hello,

If I understand correctly, you are asking if you can record audio directly from the DSP to the computer with SigmaStudio.

We do not currently support this capability. If you would like to capture digital PDM or I2S audio from the ADAU1787 on your computer, you will need a USB audio interface that supports these digital inputs at a 768kHz sample rate and use third party recording software to store the audio data.

Regards,

Joshua
