Hi,

I am working with an example code "BF707_SPI_Flash_access_codes". From its system.svc -> Startup/LDF, there is a option which the external memory can be set

But in my case, I am using BF706, and from system.svc -> startup, there is no option for setting external memory.

Anyone can explain to me, what I have to do instead for?

Hi Sva,

Are you intending to use DDR? If so, please note that ADSP-BF706 does not have support for DDR2/LPDDR. Please refer datasheet(Pg. No.: 3/114) for more information. The datasheet can be found in the below link.

I thought, I need SDRAM for memory mapped flash reading.

Hi Sva,

No, SDRAM is not mandatory for accessing flash.
