Can someone enlighten me on the input file format for the filter coefficients (Load coefficients for all filters on the GUI) for the Index Selectable Filter Block?

Thanks in advance,
Larry Y.

Hello Larry,

This comes from the Wiki entry on the subject:

Coefficients can be loaded for all added filters using the load all button which opens the choose file dialogue where the file containing all coefficients can be loaded as shown in the figure. Coefficients file is expected as a text file containing the biquad coefficients in the following order.

B0

B1

B2

A1

A2

Here is where you can read the entire contents of the help file:

https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/sigmastudio/toolbox/Filters/General2ndOrderIndexSelectable

The coefficients themselves are in 1.23 numbers for most of our DSPs. The Sigma300/350 can be 1.24. The reason I am not giving the full range of 5.23 or 8.24 is because a coefficient will never be more than 1.

So these are real numbers not hex numbers. SigmaStudio will translate them over to hex.

Which processor are you using?

Thanks,

Dave T

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply and information. So, each coefficient appears on a separate line in the text file and A0 is normalized out.

I'm using the ADAU1466 evaluation board.

Thanks,

Larry Y
