Audio delay - DM0/DM1 buffer too large for a MCU (SPI boot)

I've a project with a ADAU1462 booted by a small MCU through SPI. Now, I've added audio delay in my design (6 channels, up to 100ms).

It looks like the generated files contains some very large buffers correspond to that audio delay line. The problem is that I cannot any more compile my software, as those buffers (DM1_DATA_Data_IC_1, Param_Data_IC_1) are too large for the MCU, even in the flash memory.

How shall I proceed to use the DM0/DM1 memory for delays without having those large buffers in the generated code?

Thanks for your response!

Hello mx12,

Give this a try.

On the hardware config page right click on the DSP GUI and this menu will pop up:

Select the Advanced Framework Config

Then you will see this pop up:

Check the Reduce Size of DM0 and DM1.... selection.

I think this will help the situation.
