RAV1962 Question

I am an inexperienced user of Sigma Studio.
1. I ask you to help with a real-life example of a project with a switch between two inputs controlled via the AUX PIN switch button.
2. How to make the function mute through the encoder button AUX PIN ?

Many thanks

Hello Rav1962,

What kind of switch is on the GPIO to select between two inputs? Will it be a momentary or latching switch?

I assume the encoder AUX PIN is the push switch that is often part of a rotary encoder? This would be a momentary. So the same question here, it is momentary?

Do you have an evaluation board from us? Which model number of eval board so you have? This way I can make an example project that is easy to test on your board.

Thanks for the quick response.
I have RDC3-0027v1, SigmaDSP ADAU1452, I attach the photo.
E encoder with momentary switch.
I also have a latch button for choosing between two inputs.

Little victory)
I made a selection of audio inputs through AUX_ADC!
But I just can’t do the MUTE MOMENTARY PUSH-BUTTON through the AUX_ADC.

Help is needed!!

Hello RAV1962

You do not need to count the number of toggles of the momentary switch, you need to toggle a latch and that is located in the GPIO conditioning section of the library. It is meant to take in a momentary switch and toggle the output.

The output format is adjustable with the pull-down box but the default 32.0 is what you will need to control a switch.

Thank. Sorry for the long reply. I had problems with ADAU 1452. I had to replace eeprom.
Now everything is ok.
Does this not work with Aux? I do not want to use another MP.
Can this be done with Aux?

Hello Rav1962,

I attached a project that shows how to do this using the ADAU1452 and an AUXADC.
