Hello,

I am using a ADAU1462 and I would like to output its SPDIF RX lock status on the MPx output pins.

I see in SigmaStudio a Register Read algorithm in the DSP Functions.

It apparently allows for the reading of the 0xF600 or 0xF605 registers.

How can I format the register reading and send it to the MP?

Shall I simply attach an output to the RegRed block (they both have orange connection spots)?

The main reason for me to detect a loss of lock (a cable disconnect or an SPDIF OUT piece of equipment powered OFF) is to prevent as much as possible audible noise.

My SPDIF goes systematically through the ASRC. I enabled the "mute when lock is lost".

I do not have yet my final HW so I did not test it yet.

Hello all,

I ran tests on the EVAL-1466Z board and I can confirm that outputting the SPDIF lock bits is as simple as connecting a RegisterRead algorithm to a multipurpose output.

This is good news because the board does funny noise when a cable is inserted. Being able to detect lock allows me to implement a delay before unmute.
