In the ADSP21489 eval-board, the mounted SDRAM is 16 bit /16M. My questions are as follows:

1.Can I use 8bit - SDRAM replacing the original 16 bit one?

2. Can adsp21489 with 100-lead packages connect with external SDRAM?

Hi,

The ADSP-21489 has A SDRAM controller that supports a glueless interface with any of the standard SDRAMs. I would suggest you look into the EE-286 note discusses the SDRAM interface with ADSP-21489 processor. An example code is provided in the associated ZIP file. Finally, the EE-note also discusses SDRAM throughput optimisation guidelines.
