Is there any option to use warped FIR filters in SigmaStudio? Apart from putting together the filter structure from individual blocks yourself?

If not, is there a chance that I can implement these in C or assembler myself? Or can you provide an optimized warped FIR Filter Block?

Hello luksal,

I am assuming you are working with a SigmaDSP? Which part?

Hello Dave,

I'm working on a design which will include the ADAU1466, so yes I'm using SigmaStudio for programming.

I know that I can implement a frequency warped FIR Filter like this in SigmaStudio, but for a huge amount of taps, this is a very frustrating, time consuming and processor inefficient option, because you can parallelize many of the operations.

And to edit the coefficients it's even more useful to have a GUI like the one for the normal FIR filter:

Best regards
Lukas

Hi Lukas,

We don't have an optimized Warped FIR function in the library, and we do not currently have plans to implement it.

The SigmaDSP assembly language is generally closed, so for now your discrete solution is the best option.
