Reverberation algorithm/ modulated delay ADAU 1452
Hello everybody!
I am relative new in dealing with Sigma Studio. My EVAL-Board ist the ADAU 1452. I want to create a reverberation algorithm based on allpass- and combfilters with a modulated delay. So the delay time should change during time around some samples. My research revealed, that the best solution is to use a LFO (frequency about 2Hz) to modulate the delay. Now the problem ist the implementation in Sigma Studio. The screenshot below shows the current status of the modulation. It works so far, but there is always a „click“ noise with the frequency of the oscillator. How can I get rid of this? And is there any other possibility to implementate this modulation?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards Daniel

Hello,
It looks like your Tone block is feeding directly into the Voltage Controlled Delay block. Is that right?
When the Tone block is set to 0 dB, it outputs values from -1 to 1, while the Voltage Controlled Delay expects inputs between 0 and 1. Try changing the gain on the Tone block to -6.03 dB, and then add a constant 0.5 to its output. See if that works.
Can you zip up your project and drag it into your response? It is difficult to track all the wires.
Joshua
Your architecture looks like allpass.
Your feedback should be added to LPF
ALLPASS is used between input and output diffusion, COMP-FILTER x3 (F-BACK is REVERB TIME) + LPF (attenuation slope)
Thanks for your answer Joshua!
I implemented some changes, also the things you told, but the "click noise" is already there. Another question is how to define the the number of samples around the delay changes (in this case the span of the sinus should be 16 samples peak to peak).
Many thanks in advance!
Daniel
I created a new sreenshot with better oppertunities to track the wires. How can I upload a SIgma Studio project?
My problem is solved! Thanks for your help. Here is the final version:
