Sigma Studio slow with large project

I am working on a mixer project using the ADAU1467.

The mixer has eight local inputs and sixteen local outputs. Additionally there are thirty two inputs and outputs of networked audio.

The local outputs can have routed one signal from any of the local or networked inputs ie one of forty.

The thirty two networked outputs can have routed one signal from any of the local inputs, any of the sixteen local output pre fade or one of the local outputs post fade.

With the routing in place the code usage is 23%

Unfortunately at this point sigma studio is so slow and unresponsive it is difficult to add any more to the design, I've still got all the other functions to add to the output eg EQ, compressors, level etc

Switching between boards is very slow, zooming in and out of board is also slow.

My initial design was spread over about sixty boards, i have redrawn using only six boards but the problem is still there.

My PC specs are

Windows 10

16G Ram

CPU is i7-6700 @3.4 GHZ, 4 cores.
