( Adau1401/adau1701 Dspmini Learning Board Update To Adau1401 Single

eBay) for example.

Right now I am using a teensy to program ansäd control a wondom dsp with a 1701 which is working great but I can't seem to get access to the board linked above.

I can see that something is happening as the output shows some change on the scope while the mcu is trying to program the dsp but after that the program isn't running and the dsp does some weird output even without a source connected.

Help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Jens

Hell Jens,

It appears that the 1701 / 1401 DSP Mini Learning Board isn't equipped with the usual 10-pin programming header, so you likely needed to wire your own interface to your Teensy. I'm wondering if the board includes pullup resistors for the SCL and SDA lines. If not, try adding pullups (about 3.3K) to 3.3V at these two signals. Did you scope the audio output or the I2C lines? If you haven't already, you could look at the I2C signals to see if they're clean and of appropriate logic levels.

Best regards,

Bob
