EVAL-ADAU1467Z - i2s on SDATA_IN2
Hi,
I'm planning on building a prototype using the EVAL-ADAU1467Z evaluation board.
The design uses 8 MEMS i2s microphones. 6 of these will be connected to SDATA_IN0, SDATA_IN1 and SDATA_IN3 on left-right channels respectively.
I notice that SDATA_IN2 is also used as the digital input for the ADC on the evaluation board. Is is safe to 'intercept' this data line and use the test point to input a digital i2s signal from a MEMS microphone? Is there some way of disabling the AD1937 or is the noise floor low enough so that when there is nothing connected to the analogue in there is no digital output?
Failing this, is there any spare MP pin that can be used as an extra i2s input?
Many Thanks
