Hi, ADI Support Team

Full-Scale Analog Output is specified 0.9Vrms (2.5Vp-p) as Typ in the datasheet.
Is it possible to show the Max and Min value?
Since I want to confirm whether this DAC output avoid to clip between another device, I need to know the Max value at least.

Best Regards, TomY

I'm not from ADI. Anyway, with adau1701 the output from DAC is DC coupled, so in Sigma Studio you can connect a DC cell to one of the outs and measure DC voltage on DAC pin. With DC cell set to +1 (5.23 format) you get the min, cause DAC from adau1701 is inverting, with DC set to -1 you get the max value. Should work the same on adau1401 i guess?

Hello TomY,

I will add to what op-electronics mentioned.

The output is specified as a typical then you need to look at the gain error specification which is +/- 10%. Keep in mind that this is over all temperatures and skews so you will not see this much variability with production units but we have to cover the full range of possibilities with a statistical margin added to come up with the published specification that we guarantee will not be exceeded.
