Hi,

I wrote this post as a question, but then discovered the Signal Detect block already works exactly as I had wanted!

So I am instead posting this to help others who might think the same as me.

I am building a product around the ADAU1401 and a power amp which has a 3.3V standby pin. There is no other MCU in the system.

I would like the DSP to disable the power amp if no audio below a threshold is present for 5 minutes. I would also like the DSP to enable the power amp if audio is above threshold for 1 second.

I had seen the Signal Detect block only had a single user entry for trigger time and therefore expected the ON trigger and OFF trigger to have the same time consent. I was trying to work out some logic blocks to allow a different time for the ON and OFF trigger. However this is already built in to the Signal Detect block! The time setting is only the off delay, the block automatically has an immediate ON trigger.

Super! :)
