Dear Ken ,Bob,David and anyone out there willing to help ,

I would like to re-iterate and expect some feedback from you .

What I am trying to do is Count the number of samples by which two signals differ from each other .

Specifically I used a SW vol control and fed pins a and b of the Comparator with sine tone and slewed signal respectively .For convenience assume I set a slew factor of 7 .

From what I understand the original sine tone will differ from the slewed sine tone by exact number of faded samples ...since the volume control causes the sine signal to fade in when I set the slew rate to 7( and do nothing else to the module )

Now is there a neat and clear way of couting exactly by how many samples do these two signal differ ?

Or am I asking for too much using Sigma Studios inbuilt module !

Please respond asap ...It's very helpful for me

Dear Hermione,

As Ken M said, your desired function is best handled with Envelope block(s) before the Comparator. I sent you an example project via PM since for me the attachment system works there but not here.

Best regards,

Bob
