HTCV3 Question

I would like to confirm the circuit design using the ADAU1961WBCPZ.

Is a bypass capacitor for GND required in the immediate vicinity of the 5-pin MICBIAS terminal?
How much capacitance should a bypass capacitor be attached if necessary?
In addition, connect this output to two MEMS microphone power terminals.

Hello HTCV3,

Yes, a bypass cap would be advisable to do. 0.1uf is a good value to use.

You will need to be certain that the power draw of the MEMS mics is not too much for the MicBias limits.

From the datasheet:

Bias Current Source
AVDD = 3.3 V, MBI = 0, MPERF = 1
Max = 3mA
