HI,

will there ever be a TCPIP connection driver for the ADAU1772/1777?

Can there be a generic TCP driver for all SIGMA DSP devices?

kind regards

huegene

hi Huegene,

You will find a lot of information on this thread https://ez.analog.com/dsp/sigmadsp/f/q-a/164008/sharing-tcpi-interface-for-sigma-studio-using-esp8266-or-esp32

Also, a new version of TCPi Interface is comming...

Please note TCPi for ESP32/ESP8266 is a third party development.

Hello huegene,

So far few have asked for it and no large companies. I did put in a request for the added feature but it will be on a low priority.

this is probabbly a reoccurring question, but would not a sort of generalized well documented interface solve all those issues for good?

I mean something like a plugin interface for sigma studio. This would mean a single investment in this software, and a user-base would cover cover the reset on its own.
as you can see from the post prom rocha, a well documented protocol acts like a sure-fire success with almost no effort from analog.
