Is there a probe for the EVM that lets you view the output of an averaging envelope or similar as a real time graph while it's running? It's one of the things I'm missing from my previous IDE.I could just pick any input or output point on any module and graph it, but the only graph I can find seems to be in the frequency domain and relies on a simulation source rather than actual data.

Hello David@IA

If you look in the DSP Functions folder of the Tree Toolbox you will find the Real Time Display

Click on the "Graph" button and the window will open up

I will attach this project but you can graph the values.

There are limitations. The data is read I think every 10ms and it is like a readback control. So if something happens fast it will miss it. If you need to look at something that happens fast you can route the audio to an unused DAC output and look at it on a scope.

This Real Time graph is useful at times but it is a little bit buggy for setting up the Y-axis scale. I usually do not check the "Link Format" checkbox.

I hope this helps.

Here is the program. Note: you never mentioned the DSP you are working with. This program is for the ADAU1452

I appreciate the help, thank you. I'll see if it works.

That did the trick. I'm using the 1467 - evaluating to see if I can use it for our projects. Right now I'm just trying to get set up and understand all the modules so I can start properly experimenting.
