Hello!

I have an power amplifier. At the front of this amplifier there are several status LEDs. These leds are beeing controlled with I2C bus system.

I would like to know if its possible that an ADAU1701 (or an different ADAU) can pick up these I2C data signals and make one of its GPIO outputs high or something like that?

Is that possible? If so, how can i setup this? Thank you!

Hello Audiodude,

No, any of the SigmaDSP processors will not be able to pick up I2C messages that are not formatted for their address and will write to the correct memory location. It would be easier to read the GPIO outputs of the Atmel processor that drive the LEDs if the voltages are compatible.
