ADUA1701 No Sound sigmastudio
Basically i'm having a strange thing where, when i add certain somponents in and download it. it just stops producing sound. For example, if i use double presicion crossovers rather than single. Or in this project displayed, everything was running perfectly until i decided to add the compressors in, and then again, it just stopped playing any sound what so ever. the download seems to of been successful and i can't imagine i've used up all the storage with a program of this size. I've tried to find other people experiencing the same issues, but no one has seemed to. I'm stumped, maybe i'm missing something obvious. Thank you for any advice in advance.

Last time I checked sigmastudio doesn't tell you if you've used all the "MIPS" on this DSP. Check it in 'compiler output'...

thanks mate, i've been learning all about mips to try figure out the problem. crisis averted though. Turns out my hardware setting were set so that i was able to have 6 programs on the dsp core but was limiting to instruction length to 256 instructions. Just out of curiousity, if you know, why is there the option to have several programs on the dsp at once?

There is no way to have several programs loaded at the same time. Only one.
