Inquire about AEC's TAPS

Hi all,
A customer is considering the use of AEC.
According to their specifications, the tail needs to be at least 128ms.
In the User Guide, page 7, it says that the maximum Range for Taps is 640.
Is it possible to increase this limit?
We have selected ADAU1467 as the device to be used.
From a MIPS perspective, there seems to be a margin of competence.
