All,

I have two development boards ADZS-SC584-EZLITE. And I want to establish connection between them via SPORT. The purpose is to communicate between two DSP's. What all I need and how to do this in a simple way?

Hi,

Please refer the below which explains how to validate SPORT on ADSP-SC58x processors. The below link contains the SPORT example code, please use the code as a reference and modify as per your requirement. You can understand the working of the code from the comments embedded within.

Hi,

I found that the expansion slot Expansion Interface III Connectors (P1A-C) is used for SPI, TWI, UART, SPORT, and GPIO interfaces of the processor. FX8-120S-SV(21) is the mating connector to be used. Using that we can establish connection between two development boards. Is there any standard ready made cable/connectors available to buy?

Thanks.

Hi,

Apologies for the delay.

Unfortunately, there is no standard ready made cable/connectors available. You can customize the cable/connectors as per the requirement.
