SPI Flash problems on EZKIT bf-609
Hi,
I have used EZKIT bf-609 anf ICM -2000. At first I load Power_on_Self.ldr. I've build .ldr file and load it with cldp and bf609_w25q32bv_dpia.dxe from ADSP-BF609_Evaluation_Board-Rel1.1.0. And it worked well.
But then I've created my own project and build ldr file with the same options (-v -proc ADSP-BF609 -si-revision 0.1 -b SPI -f hex -width 8 -bcode 0x1).
Then I've loaded ldr file with cldp ( -proc ADSP-BF609 -emu ICE-2000 -driver "c:\Analog Devices\ADSP-BF609_Evaluation_Board-Rel1.1.0\BF609_EZ-Board\Blackfin\Examples\Device_Programmer\serial\bf609_w25q32bv_dpia.dxe" -cmd prog -erase affected -format hex -file Ethernet5_Core0.ldr) It is load OK.
But DSP does not start after it and more than - when I trying second load or view memory with cldp (-proc ADSP-BF609 -emu ICE-2000 -driver "c:\Analog Devices\ADSP-BF609_Evaluation_Board-Rel1.1.0\BF609_EZ-Board\Blackfin\Examples\Device_Programmer\serial\bf609_w25q32bv_dpia.dxe" -cmd view). cldp freez.

Hi Elena,
There is some confusion here, can you please confirm if you are facing problem in loading the application into the Flash or Booting from the flash?
In case of booting failure, can you try adding the below loader switch in the additional options of project while creating the ldr file.
-MaxBlockSize 0xFFF0
There might be a block which is more than 64K and that may result to boot failure. Using this switch, the loader limits the block size to a max of 0xFFF0.

Jithul
Hi, Jithul
step by step
1. create ldr file
2. load .ldr whith cldp
3. turn off/on Ezkit. ADSP does't boot.
4.Try load same .ldr - file again with cldp Doesn't load and CLDP freeze.
5. Erase memory whith my application from Debug.
6. Try load same .ldr - file again whith cldp. It's done. (Only AFTER erasing memory from debug).
7. turn off/on Ezkit. ADSP does't boot... and so on.
I use Power on self. file ldr - 583 868 byte.
Sorry for the delayed response.
When you observe the CLDP freeze, please put Ez-Kit in no boot mode and try loading LDR next time after applying RESET. Please try booting with a simple LED blink code and let me know how you get on?
