I want to use any of Blackfin, Sharc or Tiger Sharc processor to be used as a graphic accelerator. Our main processor is NXP's PowerPC. A user interface is created on it and I want any of the processor for generating a video from the data coming from the processor to drive my display. Is this possible with any of these ?

Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Analog devices Blackfin 16-/32-bit fixed point embedded processors offer software flexibility and scalability for convergent applications: video, multiformat audio, voice and image processing, multimode baseband and packet processing, control processing, and real-time security.

Can you please have a look at the ADSP-BF60x and ADSP-BF70x which are the new processors in Blackfin family. The ADSP-BF60x processors are the Dual-Core processor up to 1GHz with Hardware Support for HD Video Analytics. The ADSP-BF70x processors are the latest Low Power 400MHz Blackfin+ embedded processor with 1MByte L2 SRAM & DDR2/LPDDR Interface.
