RobWHD Question

Hi forum,

im having a problem using the ADAU´s 1701 writeback function.

Im using the Adau in self-boot-mode with push button switches for volume control.

The volume control is working fine, but i cant store the latest volume value after a restart.

I tried to trigger the WB pin by using MP11 as an impuls on every keypress, but it doesnt seem to trigger any communication between the ADAU and my eeprom.

Regards & Thanks

Rob

Hello Rob,

Can you send over your HEX file? This is the file that will be in the IC2 folder after you compile.

It sounds like you are using your own hardware correct? What are you doing with the WP pin?

Hello Dave,

I have attached the hex file from the IC2 folder.

Yes im using my own hardware, but a lot of the design is inspired by the ADAU1701MINIZ.

I´m using the WP the same way as it is used in the ADAU1701MINIZ.

Either it is connected to the EEPROM WP-pin or it is just pulled up to 3.3V and the EEPROM WP-pin grounded.
