Hi All,

When using VDSP 5.1, I'm able to see details in the State History debug window if a breakpoint is reached. According to the VDK manual, the State History "is only updated at halt". Does that imply that if I manually halt the processor using Shift+F5 from the IDE that I should be able to see an updated State History? I'd really like to, but that window only says "Plot Scale Error". Is this the expected functionality or am I doing something wrong?

FYI, I'm using a BF537 and "Full Instrumentation" is listed in the VDK settings.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

We are not able to simulate your issue. We are able to see an updated State History in the window without any issues. Can you please try with our example project in the below VisualDSP++ installation path:
<Installation Path>\Program Files (x86)\Analog Devices\VisualDSP<version>\Blackfin\Examples\ADSP-BF537 EZ-Kit Lite\VDK

If you still facing the error please share us the screenshot of the error message. Also please let us know if you are facing this issue with every project or with specific project. If you are facing the issue with specific project please share us your example project. This will help us to assist you further.

Best Regards,

Kader
