Hi!

I hope you're able to see the schematic I have attached. I have a couple of questions that have me very confused. I'm new on all these schematics so I hope it's not such dumb doubts:

1) On part BF537 (U1G$3):

What does the "labels" H2, G1, G2, F1, F2, E1, etc in the middle of the wiring mean? Is it the pin names?

2) Why is the BF537 divided, and how come each division is called in the form of U1G$X? Does that means something or is it just a random name?

3) In case there is anyone experienced with the Surveyor SRV-1 kit, please contact me, because we want to control a 16bit camera with it, but can't find a way to do it because it seems that the kit is designed only to interface with an 8bit one

I would greatly appreciate your help!! Thanks for deleting a little bit of ignorance from my brain!!

You need someone who knows about SRV-1 to explain about the project, perhaps check in other open forums (robotic?) as well, otherwise you need to hack it yourself.

I can answer these:

For symbols, refer to http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADSP-BF534_BF536_BF537.pdf

They seem to be - 208-BALL CSP_BGA BALL ASSIGNMENT

They probably divided it for easiness? It seems PPI and Ethernet are in on category, maybe its related to application.

Yeah, now I know the Blackfin got divided and each of the $1, $2, $3, etc are to indicate the different parts from the same element.

What I still don't know is if the labels H2, G1, G2, F1, F2, etc are the signals going through those wires...
