Hi,

I need to have a easy, high speed connection to a shark ADSP-2158x from an arm processor.

Possible to have an asynchronous bus connection between the shark and the arm (8/16/32 bits)? Any suggestion/tips how to do this?

/BR

Hi Dan Norin,

Please provide more details about the ARM processor interface you are referring to. The ADSP-2158x processors support the SMC interface and the PPI interface. You can consider any of this interface to connect to the ARM processor. Since you had mentioned the Asynchronous interface SMC may be an option. Note that these interfaces are part of the pinmux. If the SMC interface is selected most of the other interfaces may not be available.

The ADSP-SC58x processors from ADI also have the integreated ARM processors. You may want to explore these parts as well.

Best Regards,

Jeyanthi
