*** issues with Dayton programmer DSPB-ICP1 ... OR ... Sigma Studio? ***

1.) How can you have a comm fail when the usb icon is green as the picture shows, makes no sense?

2.) This programming board has 3 led's to show when its on but they are consistently going from bright to dimmed as if they are pulsating. Is that normal?

3.) I have two of these and they both do the same thing so can they both be bad boards? Low probability..

* (I have tried many cables, multiple PC's & USB ports with same results which doesn't seem possible unless these are just garbage?) *

Both Sigma Studio 4.5 & 4.6 were installed on a fresh Win 7 64 bit machine.

The USBi driver installed automatically and windows knew when I plugged it in and I confirmed with the Device Mngr

I see a lot of questions don't get answered here which tell is not very encouraging!

So if you can help me great! ..but if not then I will get over it!
