ADSP-BF70x i8080 16-bits LCD interface

I'm looking for solutions to connecte BF70x to an i8080 16-bits LCD interface ?

Is the PPI able to do drive it ?

Is the SMC able to do it ?

How to configure registres to driver WR, RD and CS

Hi Stephane,

I could not find datasheet of i8080. so I am not sure of it's interface and communication protocol. But you can find the details of PPI and SMC interfaces and it's supported protocols in the product's hardware reference Manual. Could you please confirm it the timings of PPI/SMC modes can be used for i8080 interface?

FYI, I interfaced BF707 Ez-KIT with WVGA LCD extender card using PPI (for communication), and SPI, TWI (for control purpose).
