Hello,

As per ADSP-BF50x Blackfin Processor Hardware Reference(Revision 1.2, February 2013 page no: 151), "The read array command returns the addressed bank to read array mode.".

For example, say, here is code snippet:

(0x20000000) = Read Array Command; //0xFF

How to ensure that the sector is put in 'READ' mode?

Please provide more references if any.

Hi Shiva,

There is no status bit that confirms whether sector is in read array mode or not after issuing Read Array command. I don't see any reason why this command will fail, as long as it is issued properly. But as mentioned in manual, "A Read Array command can be issued in one bank while programming or erasing in another bank. However, if a Read Array command is issued to a bank currently executing a program or erase operation the command is executed but the output data is not guaranteed".
