Hi ,

Can any one let me know with regards to the following .

Configuration 1 :

VisualDSP++ 5.0 Base version or Say VisualDSP++ 4.5 used on XP (Computer not connected to Web) and HPUSB-ICE is used for Blackfin development .

Preserving IDDE purpose .

Configuration 2 :

VisualDSP++ 5.1.2 used on Windown 7 and HPUSB- ICE is used with SHARC development .

When ICE of Configure 1 and 2 are interchanged will there be any problems in terms of connectivity , for example if Configration 1 ICE is used on Configuration 2 and ICE firmware is updated will configuration 1 ICE not work when brought back to Configuration 1

Thanking you

With best regards and wishes

Hello,

Any emulator firmware update should be fully backwards compatible. With that said there are many combinations to check so it is possible that sometimes we may miss something but if that is the case then it would be an unexpected bug. You should be fine in this scenario.

Best Regards,
