Hello:

I have a customer interested in using the ADSP-21489 Sharc DSP to do certain audio effects. So how do I get them started? Are the effects libraries offered by ADI or is it third party? They are working on licensing which effects they want. I see the different kits offered, EZKIT and EZBoard. But what about the software, should they be using CrossCore or VisualDSP? Is there a wiki site that explains this in detail?

THank you,

Frank

The ADSP-21489 SHARC processor is supported by both tool chains, so that is up to you. You would need to be able to list which processing libraries were required for us to comment as to whether licensing is required with a 3rd party. Can you provide this information?
