Dear Sir/mam,

I'm facing one problem in achieving data transfer between two devices through UART interface,

my device is designed based on ADSP21489 in this it is configured for UART transfer in DMA mode.

I'm able to transmit the data as per the requirement to the other device, but I'm not able to receive new data (means not refreshing) and it stuck up with first packet of data.

please do needful as early as possible and suggest necessary changes or setting for getting refreshing of new data in UART Rx buffer.

The UART is full duplex and requires proper initialization of both the transmitter and the receiver. If you are not receiving properly, you need to verify that you have also configured the UART RX DMA channel and started it so that the processor will read the RBR register and store to memory. Are you caring for this?
