magneto Question
Jul 14, 2011 00:00

I'm currently drafting a design which uses Analog's AD5791 DAC and AD7356 ADC. I was wondering what type of uC/DSP/FPGA to use to actuate these chips. The DAC SDP uses a Blackfin uP but the ADC CED uses a Cyclone FPGA. The controller will initially act as a slave just receiving commands from and sending data to a host computer, but in the future the controller may be requested to perform some of the signal processing. Any suggestions as to which one to pick and why would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I apologize for the delay in getting back on this. Please provide me with more details about your application. And also provide me with more details in terms of the processing needed. I can suggest the processors accordingly.

Best Regards,

Jeyanthi
