Suggest DSP Processor for AGC/TVG algorithm implementation

Hi,

I need to implement Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and Time Varying Gain (TVG) algorithm in a DSP processor. I am getting 16 bit parallel digital data to my card with 31.25Ksps. I need to do above algorithm at a time one only i.e. either TVG or AGC. Can anyone suggest the DSP processor for this kind of AGC/TVG algorithm implementation? After made the AGC/TCG algorithm, the gain word should be transferred through SPI communication.
